The Chapter General meeting on December 10th will present an educational program focusing on Wind Power in the morning session, followed by other alternative sources of generation in the afternoon. The afternoon session includes landfill gas, anaerobic digester, and bio-mass projects, along with solar energy.

This program has been approved for 3.5 hours of continuing education credit for SR/WA recertificaiton requirements by IRWA.

On September 2 & 3, Chapter 17 & 17A will have their combined annual meeting in LaCrosse at the Radisson hotel. The Joint Chapter meeting will be on September 3, with the Affiliate going first with elections for Secretary/Treasurer, as Paul Baumgardt will be stepping up to Vice-Chair for 2010-2011. Anyone wishing to volunteer for this position should do so no later than September 1, 2009, thereby eliminating the need for the meeting. Also, any nominations should be emailed to Jody Issacson or Paul Baumgardt before August 26, to give us enough time to contact those individuals for consent to include their name as a candidate.
